Bio Snapshot

Robert is a Christian since childhood. He received Jesus at the age of eleven. Mr. Moss was publically baptized at thirty in the Tennessee River.  Originally from Southwest Missouri, he currently lives in Knoxville, Tennessee. Robert received a B.A. in Mass Communications emphasizing in Public Relations at Missouri Southern State University. He takes a conservative evangelical stance on his Christian faith.  He attends Calvary Chapel Knoxville.

My testimony:
I am a Christian. I accepted Christ when I was about eleven. I rededicated my life at 21. Baptized at 21, just me and the pastor. I was publically baptized on August 27, 2007 at the Cove in Knoxville, TN. From 97-2000 I did attend a Chirstian College from a call from the Lord to enter the ministry. Yet in 2000, I had some unfortunate circumstances that required me to not pursue a ministry degree at that time. I still have the call of God to serve in some sort of ministry although I know it may not be what I thought, but will be obedient to where he has me currently. I’m not perfect by any means. I have a daugther from a previous relationship. I was married(different woman, not my baby’s mother.) for a year(sept. 2008-Nov 2009) Now I am a divorced single. I’m learning after poor choices and going rock bottom. It has been for the grace of God I am still alive.
Many of my poor choices happened after I committted my life to Christ. So yes, you could say I have lived a hypocritical life. Ive lived on the fence and I have been knocked off.
Only for God’s grace is he has brought me back into his hands for restoration. God is showing me what I must go through to be molded daily into his image and where He desires me to bring him glory in relationships, job, and wherever he takes me. I am at his mercy for my future, trusting he will make beauty from the ashes I have created. I recognize I will still make mistakes, yet I will do better now because the Holy Spirit will guide me and get my attention when I go off course.
I love my Jesus. I love my church and church family. I do miss my childhood home, but thankful for the Lord bringing me to East Tennessee.
